Is this an official American Heart Association course?
Yes. This is the official AHA HeartCode online course. Paired with a hands-on skills session at an AHA training center, it earns you an official American Heart Association eCard.
How do I get the online course after I pay?
Your AHA HeartCode online course link is emailed to the address you enter at checkout, right after payment. Complete it at your own pace.
Where do I do the hands-on skills session?
At any American Heart Association authorized training center or training site — including ours. Use the finder above to locate one near you.
How long is my certification valid?
Your American Heart Association eCard is valid for two years from the date you complete your skills session.
Which course should I take — BLS, ACLS, or PALS?
BLS is the foundation for all healthcare providers. ACLS is for advanced cardiovascular life support (ICU, ER, cath lab). PALS is for pediatric advanced life support. Most roles start with BLS; check your employer's requirement.
