Same AHA evidence base and code framework, different patients. PALS adds pediatric-specific assessment, dosing, and equipment. Most students find them complementary — taking them together helps each one reinforce the other.
Are both cards valid for 2 years?
Yes. Both ACLS and PALS Provider eCards are valid for 2 years from completion. Each one renews independently after that.
