Heartsaver Pediatric FAQ

Common questions.

Is this the right course for daycare workers?

Yes. Florida DCF licensing requires AHA Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR/AED for childcare staff. This course is the exact one they're asking for.

What's the difference from regular Heartsaver?

Regular Heartsaver covers adult, child, and infant CPR equally. Pediatric Heartsaver focuses heavily on infant and child techniques and pediatric-specific first aid scenarios. Pick this one if your role is centered on kids.

Can I bring my whole daycare staff?

Yes — group bookings at all three locations, or we can come to you. Contact us for on-site rates.

How long is the card valid?

2 years. We'll send a renewal reminder before yours expires.

Is there a written test?

A short multiple-choice knowledge check after the hands-on portion. Most students pass on their first try.
