The American Heart Association BLS Provider course trains healthcare professionals and students with clinical responsibilities to provide lifesaving interventions to victims of cardiac and respiratory arrest.

INSTRUCTOR-LED BLS CERTIFICATION

Classic 4 Hour Instructor-Led Class

Complete the AHA HeartCode Basic Life Support (BLS) class online in the comfort of your own home. Afterward, schedule an appointment at one of our training centers to complete a hands-on skills session. The skills verification session takes 30–45 minutes, depending on the learner's current level of knowledge. Receive your American Heart Association two-year BLS Provider certification card after completing the online portion and the hands-on skills session for course completion.

Resuscitation Quality Equipment (RQI) simulation station and AHA HeartCode BLS provide a self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program that uses adaptive learning technology. This system allows learners to acquire and demonstrate BLS skills using a personalized learning path that adapts in real-time to a learner’s performance. This process takes a variable amount of time to complete the online course. It is designed for healthcare professionals who respond to pediatric emergencies and pediatric critical care. After completing the online course, schedule an appointment to complete the hands-on independent skills simulation verification. .
